Pixel Pit Crew

Pixel Pit Crew puts you in charge of a small racing outfit, but the heart of it is the pit stops. Between races you upgrade the car and hire crew, then during a stop you frantically tap the right sequence to change tyres and refuel before the clock runs out.

The management side is shallow-ish, which is fine for a phone game, and the tension of a well-executed pit stop is the real hook. Nail a clean stop under pressure and it genuinely feels earned.

It repeats itself after a while, and the upgrade tree could use more surprises. Still, in short bursts it's a fun little loop with a great pixel-art presentation.
