Neon Drift Legends

Neon Drift Legends is exactly the kind of arcade racer I keep coming back to. There's no complicated tuning menu blocking your first race; you tap in, pick a car, and you're sliding around corners within thirty seconds. The drift mechanic is the star, and holding a long chain of slides while the multiplier climbs feels genuinely great.

Steering uses tilt by default, but there's a solid on-screen wheel option that I ended up preferring. Tracks wind through a stylised night city, and the sense of speed is well tuned, quick enough to thrill but never so blurry that you lose the road.

It's not a deep simulation, and it doesn't pretend to be. This is a game for short, punchy races where you're chasing a slightly better time each run. On that promise, it delivers.
