Big Bass 3in1
Big Bass 3in1 is one of those pick-up-and-play apps that surprised me more than I expected. As the name hints, it packs three little fishing-themed mini games into a single package, and switching between them takes one tap from the main menu. The whole thing runs smoothly even on my ageing test phone, which already earned it points.
The core loop is casting, timing your reel, and reacting to fish that behave a little differently in each mode. Controls are touch-based and forgiving: a tap to cast, a hold-and-release for the pull. It never feels twitchy, which makes it a nice wind-down game. The art is bright and cheerful without being loud, and the little sound cues when you land a catch are oddly satisfying.
What I appreciated most is that none of the three modes overstays its welcome. Each session is short, so it fits into a coffee break perfectly. If you want something calm that still gives you a small sense of progress, it's an easy recommendation.
